Try DOSBOX :)

or maybe MilkyTracker.

Had a look at those when I was considering

tracking. Looks like I got stuck up with ASCII

Well, I am currently using MilkyTracker due to the similarities to FT2. Guessing that I'm getting too used to it to change lol.

Hehe, I know :P I like your tune though. Very creative way to make those drums.

I've also been struggling for awhile and I kinda gave up on one of my project and started a new today.

I use Seablue's samples. But I can tell you that those drums are not handdrawn.
