I know I have made this before here --> http://deviatedhacki...app-tic-tac-toe
But yesterday I decided to re-create the game from scratch and this time in assembly and targeted to windows only for now.
Here is what I have done till now: https://www.sugarsyn...8_643_744248990
As you can see just the basic of the game is completed and I pretend to add more things to it to make it more fun.
If you have suggestions for game, tips for optimizing code or bugs feel free to share.
Note: Make suggestions that are not included here in this topic: http://deviatedhacki...pp-tic-tac-toe. Some of those things are in mind already and will be added soon.

i tried personally this game as beta tester and it's very nice! you need only to add a battle vs cpu and it's will be good! =D

I guess this would require extra knowledge such as DirectX, OpenGL, 3D design and/or many other things that I don't know.

Added possibility to play with CPU or against yourself or other player.
When you click a square more than one time in "Player vs CPU" mode the CPU will play each click you do on that same square. Just click once. This will be fixed later.
And the CPU playing style will be improved a little more.

Fixed bug which was causing square played by CPU still playable by player.
Improved CPU playing style, fixed bug that would case CPU to not play in certain end game cases.
Added option to "force CPU to play", that way you can choose CPU to start game or not.
If you find any bug, please let me know.

Noticed another bug, the program doesn't registers player's input sometimes and the cpu plays twice.

Tell me when it happens because I didn't experience anything like that. At least on XP.

I noticed a similar issue when playing with numeric keyboard but playing with mouse clicks I had no problems.
Is this the case or is it happening when playing with mouse clicks too?
I couldn't test it on Windows 7 because it is not booting anymore due to hardware failure.

Fixed some small bugs.
A line showing the winner direction will now appear.

This is supposed to be the final version. No more things is planed to be added, unless it is very good! :D
If you find any bug or error, please let me know.

The error is still there except now it now happens with the cpu too. I think its a drawing issue because the message pops up about who won or lost if you click randomly couple of times. Also its hard to win against CPU because the CPU blocks each path that you can win but i guess you can't do much about it since theres only a few moves you can do right in the beginning in tic tac toe to win.

Just found that when O wins it detects X wins instead in this final version.
And about CPU playing twice I couldn't notice that till now in Windows 7 or XP.
The message telling who won appears even nobody won or what?
And don't click too fast on squares, you must wait cpu to play. So if you are clicking too fast is normal that something unexpected may happen.
It is still possible to win the CPU. I have done it many times.

Fixed the error of O player never winning in the previous version.
And I still couldn't experience the bug STN said so if it really exists it wasn't fixed because I can't fix what I cannot see.
If you are using integrated graphics you may experience a much higher CPU usage, to lower CPU usage by up to 95% or more just increase the delay execution of the drawing thread.
I noticed this today when I removed my 9500GT from here and as my integrated graphics are 5 years old technology and I am using an old CPU as well this will not be a problem for any decent system nowadays.
